Susan Covington

Susan is a seasoned attorney who has dedicated over three decades of her life to helping others. Susan exhibited an early inclination towards justice and fairness. This innate sense of fairness led her to pursue advocacy at a young age from working at law firms while pursuing undergraduate studies in political science at the University of South Carolina through graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

After finishing law school in 1991, Susan worked in Greenville in private practice for five years. In 1994, Susan became admitted to practice before the Fourth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. In these early years, she gained invaluable experience handling various legal cases, and came to understand that she had a particular gift in helping others navigate the complexities of the law. During this time, Susan also became a certified mediator at a time before mediation was required by law. Serving as a mediator allowed her to expand her legal skills while serving the community by mediating disputes.

Empowered by this experience and a burning desire to make an even more profound impact, Susan went on to establish her own law firm where she quickly gained a reputation for being reliable and trustworthy. Her dedication to her clients is unwavering and earned her trust and respect of clients, peers, and the community.

Two decades later, Susan joined forces with the Covington Law Office, LLC to fight for injured victims. Recognizing their shared vision for justice, Gene and Susan came together and formed a powerful legal team totally dedicated to represent injured victims. Their skills complement each other, and this allows them to provide comprehensive and effective representation to people who have been injured, who have been wronged, and need a voice. Susan knows that in working hard, we help those in need and that in carrying other's burdens, we take on the weight of those injured. As we are all instructed, carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill His law.
